Coffee • creativity • community
An art café in Somerset West for coffee, creativity and connection.
Good food, fresh coffee and creative time for grown-ups, children and four-legged friends at Bizweni Campus.
Welcome to Haven
A coffee shop with a creative heart.
Haven Art Cafe is a family-friendly coffee shop at Bizweni Campus in Somerset West, created for good food, fresh coffee and unhurried time together.
Settle in for breakfast or lunch, choose an art activity, let the children enjoy the play area or simply find a comfortable corner and stay awhile. Children, grown-ups, artists, first-time painters and well-behaved dogs are all welcome here.
Haven started in 2022 with a simple vision from its art-therapist owner: to create a place where art, coffee and people could come together and build community. The result is a relaxed, slightly quirky café where creativity is part of the everyday experience rather than something reserved for professional artists.
Come for a cappuccino and breakfast in Somerset West, meet a friend for lunch, bring the children for a creative morning or spend an hour making something of your own. There is no pressure to be artistic and no need to rush.

Familiar favourites with a playful Haven twist.
Our menu moves from proper coffee and fresh juices to generous breakfasts, waffles, French toast, toasties, wraps and something sweet from the harvest table. There are lighter choices when you want them and indulgent ones when you do not.
Families can order from the Little Cuties menu, while visiting dogs can enjoy a puppacino or a simple dog-friendly treat.

Functions at Haven
A personal venue for birthdays, kitchen teas and small celebrations.
We are intentionally not a one-size-fits-all function venue. Every celebration has a different guest list, appetite and atmosphere, so we prepare a tailored suggestion based on what you actually need.
Tell us your occasion, preferred date, guest numbers and food ideas. We can then recommend suitable platters or menu options, provide a rough per-person costing and include a venue fee where applicable.
