Haven hosts birthday parties, kitchen teas and small private functions in a relaxed, creative setting at Bizweni Campus.
Instead of forcing every group into the same fixed package, we prepare a tailored proposal. You tell us what you are planning; we recommend suitable platters, menu options, creative activities and space arrangements; and then we refine the details together.

We are small enough to listen properly and flexible enough to shape the occasion around your guest list, food preferences and budget.
Some groups want a relaxed table with coffee and platters. Others want a children's birthday with food, play and an art activity. A kitchen tea may need a more grown-up menu, thoughtful presentation and a semi-private area.
After receiving your enquiry, we prepare a rough costing based on the number of guests and the food or platter choices that best suit the occasion. Where a venue or exclusive-use fee applies, it is shown separately and explained clearly. The proposal remains flexible until you are happy with the plan.

We use these details to provide an indicative per-person amount or platter total. You can add, remove or adjust elements before confirmation.
Space and venue fees
Clear costs where they apply.
Haven currently accommodates smaller gatherings, with a guide of up to 18 guests inside and 25 outside. Final capacity depends on the setup, mix of adults and children, weather and whether an activity area is required.
A venue or exclusive-use fee may apply depending on the date, duration, area required and impact on normal café trading. Any applicable fee is listed separately rather than hidden in the food costing.

The form is deliberately more detailed than a general contact form. It gives us enough information to send a useful first response instead of asking you to repeat the basics by email.
You do not need to have every detail finalised. Estimates are perfectly fine, and there is space to tell us about ideas that do not fit neatly into a form.

Do you have fixed function packages?
No. We use your guest numbers, food preferences, occasion and space requirements to prepare a tailored suggestion and rough costing.
Can you provide platters?
Yes. Platter and food suggestions are included according to the size, timing and style of your function. The final mix can be adjusted before confirmation.
Is there a venue hire fee?
A venue or exclusive-use fee may apply depending on the date, duration and area required. Where applicable, it will be listed clearly in your proposal.
Can we include an art activity?
Yes. Creative activities can be included for children or adults, with the best option suggested according to ages, numbers and available materials.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Tell us about dietary requirements in the enquiry form. We will advise what can reasonably be accommodated before the booking is confirmed.
